Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Human Resources Project Analyst collaborates with business partners to create high-quality analysis, reports, project support, and presentations for process department enhancements and is involved in carrying out the process plan. Plays a important role in shaping Talent Management practices and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns in recruitment and retention.
  • Analyze data to identify solutions, including trend analysis, predictive and prescriptive.
  • Prepares reports of data results with visuals, identifying key trends and insights, presenting, and explaining findings to leadership.
  • Partner with directors to implement process improvements based on data analysis.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Evolve existing workforce metrics and dashboards.
  • Promote overall data quality and assist in managing the company's workforce data; run regular audits, report issues, and see them through to resolution to ensure data integrity.
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Assists in development or improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Generates monthly demographic reports and provides analysis for key metrics.
  • Maintains compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Assist in developing and refining workflows, timelines, and milestones for key projects.
  • Coordinate and track progress on recruiting-related projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met.
  • Assist in developing project plans, including scope, objectives, and resource allocation for recruiting initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams (e.g., Training, Operations, HR) to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalate as needed, and support resolution to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare project status reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Support implementation of new systems or process improvements, including testing, documentation, and training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Specifics

Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in analytical/project support role.
  • Strong quantitative, data visualization, and project management skills.
  • Statistical skills using Microsoft Excel to analyze and organize data.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge including complex formulas and pivot tables.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
  • Experience in HR Data analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with Workday, including reporting, data integrations and problem solving.
  • Experience with iCIMS, including reporting, data integrations and problem solving.
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced Microsoft Co-Pilot knowledge.

Additional Information

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Director of Crew Recruiting and Systems.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb up and down stairs; lift weight up to 25 lbs; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
