Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aviation maintenance management, aeronautical science or related field.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- At least five (5) years’ experience within the last eight (8) years leading teams within an aircraft maintenance organization.
- Experience with performing aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with Part 121, 129, 135 or 145 regulations.
- Extensive experience working and/or leading in Maintenance Control.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Strong communication and verbal skills.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Previous experience with Maintenix utilization.
- Lean CI or QDM certification – Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt.
- Diverse maintenance experience in other areas such as HMV, Line Maintenance, Avionics, Sheetmetal/Structures, Hangar Maintenance, CASS, QA, QC, Production Control, etc.
- Formal training in the skill of coaching.
Additional Information
Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to an MOC Duty Manager.
Authorities: None.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
