Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

The AOG Expeditor is responsible for the prompt acquisition of materials required to resolve Aircraft on Ground situations. This is accomplished through various means, such as: Transferring stock from existing inventory location, loaning/borrowing parts from other airlines, sourcing parts on the open market from approved vendors, expediting open Repair Orders or Purchase orders as required and ensuring their prompt delivery to the out of service aircraft. The position supports the Integrated Operational Center personnel as well as Maintenance Base personnel. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinates expediting open repair orders (exchange) with the Component Repair Team.  
  • Coordinates with the Procurement Team to expedite their orders. 
  • Action and coordination of the shipment and receipt of materials via the most efficient means  
  • Ensures all current and next day maintenance requests and shipment information is maintained within the operating system to ensure visibility to all departments.  
  • Responsible for working with IOC, Stores, and maintenance personnel for timely return of all serviceable or unused parts and tooling from road trips.  
  • Track parts requisitions through the entire process from order/pick list to delivery at the aircraft site.   
  • Responsible for sourcing/purchasing of parts from other Airlines, or from approved vendors on the open market.  
  • Coordinate with different departments to provide updates on required reports. 
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planning for upcoming tasks (parts/tooling availability)  
  • Attend all required meeting calls.  
  • Sets up and monitors Courier services. 
  • Responsible for timely communication of updates to stakeholders. 
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office programs 
  • Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging 
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English 
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US. 
 
Additional Information 

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Supervisor of AOG. 

Authorities: None 

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position. 

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
