Maintains responsibility and authority to plan, direct, and control resources, change procedures, and make key determinations (including safety risk acceptance decisions) for PSA Airlines' Maintenance Operations Control Department.
Maintains responsibility and authority to plan, direct, and control resources, change procedures, and make key determinations (including safety risk acceptance decisions) for PSA Airlines' CASS program.
Responsible for Regulatory Compliance - Maintenance.
Directs the establishment of all performance metrics for the Maintenance Division.
Reviews and influences maintenance performance against established procedures and standards.
Analyze business processes, develop strategies, lead activities, monitor progress and provide mentorship within the Tech Ops organization.
Initiates and develops projects to improve performance of people, equipment, processes and enable better performance within the entire Maintenance Organization.
Has the authority to request resources from the various departments within Tech Ops to accomplish identified performance enhancing projects.
Complying with applicable company policies, procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Drive a culture of safety and compliance.
Coaches and develops subordinate team members.
Initiates and develops recommended revisions to the General Maintenance Manual.
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
Must meet requirements described in 14 CFR Part 119.67(c)
At least five years of experience within the last eight years leading teams within a Part 121 maintenance organization.
Extensive experience working across organizational boundaries
Proficient knowledge in Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Systems
Extensive experience operating in an organized labor environment
Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to speak/read/write in English
