Responsibilities

Position Summary 
 
As the Cadet Engagement Recruiter this will impact PSA Airlines’ by recruiting and engaging key talent through PSA’s Pathway Programs. The role will serve as a point of contact with the cadets at varying levels of their pathway ensuring they have a unique and valuable experience.
 
Job Responsibilities 
  • Functions as entry point into Interview Process for PSA Cadets
  • Partners with Recruiting Leadership, Marketing & Communications, Training and Cadet Mentors and to ensure a thorough engagement and retention plan.
  • Conducts knowledge checks with cadets and various stages to ensure PSA specific qualifications are met.
  • Supports contract updates with Manager
  • Organizes and schedules knowledge checks and progression interviews to ensure proper candidate details are needed for interviews
  • Assess candidates technical, functional knowledge and leadership skills through a combination of behavioral and competency-based interviews.
  • Actively retain qualified cadets in Cadet Program through ongoing engagement activities, works to update recruitment and engagement strategy with Manager of Talent Acquisition.
  • Updates candidate tracking and department reporting weekly.
  • Maintains a strong keep in touch contact management system pipeline within the systems of potential pilot candidates in company CRM, ATS, and other recruitment resources.
  • Supports overall retention engagement initiatives, changes, and implementations where needed. Supports Cadet Program pay, benefits, and compensation.
  • Analyze cadet program trends and metrics
  • Identify and attend networking activities such as career fairs, professional associations, technical schools and outplacement services, etc. Represents PSA at virtual and external recruiting events
  • Ability to keep abreast of cadet program labor trends on where the best supply of talent is in the market place.
  • Collaborate with key internal business partners to facilitate cadet program engagement:
    • Recruiting Coordinators: information needed to provide administrative support in scheduling, etc.
    • Human Resources: facilitate smooth transition preparing for candidates first day of work.
  • Directly accountable for adhering to standard processes for ICIMS and Yello data management
  • Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures as well as with all applicable external regulations.
  • Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Position Specifics

Qualifications 
 
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience in recruiting application review, preferably in Pilot Recruiting or Aviation related
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn and utilize applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and virtual recruiting tools
  • Ability to use or learn how to use online screening tools and technology to build efficiencies into the overall recruiting process
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to demonstrate right to work in the US
 
Preferred
  • Recruiting experience in university or flight school setting
  • Bachelor’s degree

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
