Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

Our Ground Instructors and Manager of Ground Training will provide mentorship as you learn about our business. You will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and are rewarded for your achievements in a demanding environment. Access to senior management and a strong network of peers will promote ongoing professional development.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Indoc instructors with organizing pilot records. This will include management of new hire class lists with gathering appropriate first day documentation and logbook verifications.

  • Assist Indoc instructors with preparing classrooms, briefing rooms, and Integrated Procedure trainer (IPT) for student learning. This will include lesson materials, presentation, and device setups, wiping device screens, Threat Error Management (TEM) posters and etc.

  • Assist with new hire pilot bidding process.

  • Assist pilot new hires with the uniform selection process. This will include aiding pilot new hires with capturing their uniform sizes and entering orders to finance.

  • Partner with Operations Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Specialist to update Virtual Simulator (VSIM) databases.

  • Partner with Manager of Pilot Ground Training on special projects to improve the training department such as development of Mock KV preparation materials, ensuring training devices are supplied, coordinating classroom schedules/availability and other projects as assigned.

  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Required

  • Attend a college/university in the U.S.

  • Aviation related degree program

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Entry level to intermediate Microsoft suite experience

  • Ability to quickly solve problems on your own and with a team

  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a drive to succeed

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to partner and work on a team

  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.

  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

 

Preferred

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
