Responsibilities

Position Summary


As the Financial Analyst, you will make a significant impact on PSA Airlines’ comprehensive strategic financial plan by tracking and analyzing financial, staffing, and productivity performance, to generate cost reduction and process improvement.


Job Responsibilities


• Development of the annual operating budget and models used to forecast operating expenditures.
• Coordinates near and long-term planning activities to ensure consistency and compliance with corporate American Airlines action plans.
• Evaluates competitive strategies and industry trends to determine impact on current or contemplated action plans.
• Assists management during labor negotiations by developing and utilizing costing models to determine the financial impact of union and company economic proposals.
• Creates business cases and financial analysis for capital proposals in order to secure capital funding.
• Coordinates annual capital plan process and tracks actual and forecasted capital spending on current/future projects.
• Completes monthly financial close and the review of business expenses.
• Presents results to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting
• Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English
• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US

Work Enviroment: This job operates in a professional office environment and on-the-road. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
