• Work Schedule: Full Time (Mon- Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility to support events)
• Reports To: Assistant Director of People Development
• Direct Reports: None

Responsibilities

Position Summary


The Engagement Coordinator assists the People Development Team with onboarding and engagement events centered around PSA’s values. The Engagement Coordinator will execute the PSA Engagement Strategy, which includes community outreach, event planning, and team member recognition. The Engagement coordinator will provide administrative and logistical coordination and support to ensure the success of engagement events, projects, and programs.


Job Responsibilities

 

• Coordinate and plan PSA engagement events including community outreach, wellness, volunteer and company-wide events including coordinating volunteers, managing budget, working with vendors for events such as PSA Air Show Luncheon, Be Pink Cancer Awareness employee events/walks, Team Member Recognition Events, Presidents Award etc.
• Support the logistics of New Hire Orientation including materials, scheduling dates, locations, calendar invitations, leader participation, and facilitators.
• Actively involved in executing the engagement strategy for PSA Airlines.
• Create and execute engagement calendar with engagement team; keeping internal portal calendar updated.
• Collaborates with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team and Inclusion Council to coordinate company and community events.
• Assist with employee survey execution and data management.
• Maintains records and reports for employee recognition, event participation reports, budgets etc.
• Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.
• Adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

Qualifications

Qualifications


Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years’ coordination experience supporting event marketing/planning or large meeting/tradeshow/conferences or career services or administrative background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software including Excel
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• If hired, must be able to demonstrate right to work in the US.
 

Preferred

• Knowledge of event marketing promotion, social media and/or content creation
• Knowledge of community outreach

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
