Position Summary

The Pilot Recruiting Interviewer & Offer Specialist will impact PSA Airlines’ supportability by reviewing applications and resumes. This role has a direct effect on the candidate experience along with the efficiency of assessing candidates’ skills and behaviors to receive a conditional job offer with PSA. The Pilot Recruiting Interviewer will liaison with Recruiting leadership and Flight Operations members with focus on process efficiency and optimization.

Job Responsibilities


• Organize and lead in person and virtual pilot interview days
• Prepare interview materials and manage interview schedules
• Observe, obtain and asses information during an interview setting in accordance with instructions to receive various feedback
• Verify information in interviewees responses and/or Logbooks with effective questioning
• Compile notes and track interview results
• Partner with pilot interviewers to determine outcomes of interviews
• Draft and extend offers of employment
• Communicate and manage start date expectations
• Partner with onboarding team to manage any travel logistics changes and expectations pertaining to interview days with excellence
• Facilitate a seamless transition from the recruiting process to onboarding process
• Attend Recruiting meetings, share knowledge and feedback regarding candidate interviews, experiences, and upcoming starts
• Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
• Performs other duties as assigned



• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of Recruiting or interviewing experience
• Strong working knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze applicant data
• Proven track record of maintaining high levels of confidentiality
• Some experience with immigration and foreign document analysis and processing
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong relationship building skills
• Ability to build and establish strong professional relationships/rapport with Flight Operations business partners
• Ability to organize and lead interview days
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• If hired, must be able to demonstrate right to work in the US.

Additional Information

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Assistant Director of Pilot Recruiting.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb up and down stairs; lift weight up to 25 lbs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
