The OSHA Specialist will help coordinate and track all required pandemic testing under the OSHA ETS Mandate. This includes coordination with the employee and Leadership to ensure that the tests are uploaded correctly, negative and timely. The OSHA Specialist will also assist with the Pandemic Response to include tracking/logging cases, contact tracing and making the required notifications. The OSHA Specialist will support OSHA/Environmental Compliance with all PSA Facilities. This includes tracking /administering hearing tests and respirator compliance of all covered employees and compliance with all required standards. Analyze injury data with an enhanced focus on OJI prevention (work with AA / SSO).
•Assist with the Pandemic response.
•Make Pandemic related communications and required notifications.
•Coordinate with employees to ensure compliance with the OSHA ETS standard.
•Track required testing and ensure the results are negative, timely and logged appropriately.
•Coordinate with Employees and Leaders to remain compliant.
•Develop and implement the process of testing submissions and work with AA IT to further enhance Intelex capabilities.
•Work with Corp Comm on required communications with Team Members
•Support OSHA Compliance to include compliance in all PSA Facilities.
•Assist in creating OSHA Training.
•Assist in the Environmental Compliance for all PSA Facilities.
•Track hearing tests and respirator compliance of all covered employees.
•Track OJI data and work with PSA Leaders on mitigations.
•Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
•In absence, duties will be performed by the Director of Safety.
•High school diploma or equivalent
•At least 1-2 years experience in adminstrative, office support environement
•Prevoius data entry experience
•Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and software development
•Ability to speak/read/write in English.
•Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S.
•Previous project or program management
•Previous safety experience or experience in OSHA/EPA related field
•Advanced degree in safety, engineering, or aviation field or closely related discipline
